HASP4 Driver Installer: Readme

This device driver installer supports the Windows x86 and Windows x64 platforms. The installer detects the version of the operating system at run-time, before installing the relevant drivers.
The readme includes new features, enhancements and other relevant information.

Support for Windows Vista SP2 and Windows Server 2008 SP2

Notes

New updates no longer support Windows 95. Users of this platform require an earlier version of the device driver.

HASP4 APIs from versions 6.10, 6.11, and 6.12 are not supported.

Limitations

Ref #10141: In certain cases, existing Windows settings may prevent your protected application being correctly launched.
Workaround:
1. Open the Systems Properties dialog box.
2. In the Advanced tab, under Performance, select Settings.
3. In the Performance Options dialog box, click the Data Execution Prevention tab.
4. Select the Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select option.
5. Click Add, then browse to and select your protected application.
